Mia has been a dedicated interior designer for almost 30 years, passionate about the art of transforming spaces. Her expertise lies in planning and remodeling, with a particular love for creating bespoke kitchens that clients adore. Her portfolio showcases high-end design projects, each one a testament to close collaboration with wonderful clients. Mia is driven by the joy of crafting beautiful, profoundly functional, and uniquely tailored environments.
Her journey with the Foothills Club of Tucson began when her brother Mark, a fellow member, piqued her curiosity. While the compelling cause initially drew her in, it’s truly the remarkable people within the club who have inspired her to stay. There’s a wonderful camaraderie that makes their work together so much fun; it’s a constant, joyful reminder of the significant good they’re doing for kids in the community. Mia particularly cherishes hearing the impactful stories of how their grants directly transform the lives of Tucson’s youth.
Within the Foothills Club, Mia envisions herself playing an active role in expanding their reach by. She plans to identify and advocate for new non-profit organizations that align with their mission but haven’t yet received grants. Her aim is to thoroughly vet these deserving groups, ensuring their support extends to an even broader spectrum of vital community initiatives. Beyond grant identification, Mia is also eager to expand the Foothills Club’s name and by hosting events, inviting her clients and friends to learn more about the club’s impactful work. She particularly looks forward to organizing a yearly Halloween party as a fun way to engage new supporters.
Beyond blueprints and color palettes, Mia finds a ton of joy in the edible arts; she loves baking and intricately decorating cookies and cakes. She also loves planning parties and game nights. Her life is truly enriched by the deep bonds she shares with her family and friends, who are everything to her. Mia is a proud parent to two children currently attending the University of Arizona.
